The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence for the pharmaceutical company. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and negotiating agreements to support product commercialization and market expansion efforts. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key decision-makers to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, licensing deals, and distribution contracts to support product commercialization and market entry.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to assess market potential and inform business development decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, regulatory affairs, and finance, to ensure alignment of business development activities with overall business strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management and stakeholders to communicate progress, achievements, and future plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development roles within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in identifying and closing business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative business solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
