Business Development Manager

Market Research & Analysis (Marketing & Communications)

We are a medium startup company that will scale up soon to a big startup company. Our work culture upholds the values of the Qur'an & Hadith. We are looking for an expert Business Development Manager with a positive portfolio who is oriented and passionate about contributing to Business Development and Growth (profit growth). As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

[Key Tasks]

1. Handling the development of expansion/scale-up businesses with billions of revenue and contributing to sales profitability in the hundreds of millions.
2. Brand & product development including supporting marketing & sales campaigns, product and brand launches, and branding and awareness strategies.
3. Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify innovative business opportunities continuously in the short, medium, and long term.
4. Developing a comprehensive and effective business strategy system based on market research, competitors, market trend analysis, and in-depth data analysis, then providing sharp recommendations for strategic business decisions.
5. Reading the market movement map broadly and macro.

[Market and Channel Expansions]

1. Finding potential business opportunities for business goal growth points.
2. Able to open/penetrate the market for new customers (potential) so that they can become leads generators/contributors.

[Performance Business Monitoring]

1. Monitoring sales progress and ensuring it is in line with pre-set targets.
2. Monitoring business trends and providing insights into recommendations for existing & new channel optimization.

[Engage and Establish Stakeholders/Clients Effectively]

1. Exploring new opportunities while maintaining good relationships with third parties such as suppliers or vendors.

[Cross-Functional Synergy and Collaboration]

1. Collaborating with various teams such as design, marketing, and CSR to maintain a positive company (brand) image.
2. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure efficient business operations.
3. Collaborating with the product development team to create products based on the research conducted.

[Qualifications]

1. Having a positive portfolio of developing successful business strategies.
2. At least 5+ years of experience in the same position.
3. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Industrial Design, or relevant majors is preferred.
4. Excellent market insight and planning including business analysis and negotiation skills.
5. Able to work independently and collaborate across divisions.
6. Strong understanding of business process flow and progressive thinking.
7. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Decision-making expertise, with the ability to make quick, precise, and astute decisions.
9. Ability to build and manage prospective customer/market databases.
10. Strong innovative, critical, and analytical thinking.
11. Open-minded, highly motivated, competitive, and ambitious to grab big potential winning market.
12. Willing to be placed in Yogyakarta with WFO system.
