Business Development Lead / Representative (WFH/Contract/Part-time)

Lilymk Industries (LMK) is a regional marketing and service company including distribution marketing and technical service. Active for more than 10 years, we offer complete industrial marketing & service in the whole supply chain to our contracted partners in Aluminium Industry, Steel Industry, Chemicals Industry, and Machinery Industry. We are a dedicated and professional industrial service provider with a track record of long-term business relationship establishment and maintenance. Our headquarters has successfully aligned with the top three in each industry we’re dedicated to over the past decade. Our regional offices and operations span across China, India, and Indonesia as of 2024. Each region operates semi-autonomously with their own corporate functions including Commercial, Finance, HR, Compliance & Legal, Customer Service, and Operations.

Role Brief:

The ideal candidate needs to have the interest, passion, and requisite skill sets to establish new accounts and develop business channels. A track record of making cold calls and marketing from zero would be a great plus.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Establishing sales strategies and developing new business opportunities in the Industrial Brakes Industry, Aluminium Manufacturing Industry, Steel Industry, and Air Conditioner Manufacturing Industry, assisting in building and maintaining client relationships.
  2. Formulating a 1-3 month sales action plan in line with group direction.
  3. Executing the marketing plan and meetings with measurable results for progress.
  4. Providing periodic commercial reports to the regional commercial manager and local executive team on business development activities, plans, and progress.
  5. Communicating, sharing, and collaborating with all overseas branches on business projects.
  6. Ensuring compliance with Company Policies & Ethics.

Preferred Attributes:

  1. Mature with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability; age over 28 is preferred.
  2. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
  3. Honesty with a down-to-earth personal character is a MUST.
  4. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Relevant experience with a track record in sales and business development in any manufacturing unit, preferably in the Industrial Brakes Industry, Aluminium Manufacturing Industry, Air Conditioner Manufacturing Industry, Wind Power Industry, or related fields.
  6. Result-oriented, self-disciplined, focused, and dedicated with a proven ability to work independently to achieve results in business development.
  7. Ability to initiate business relationships from scratch, including making cold calls when needed.
  8. An accomplished self-starter who can lead the entire cycle of the commercial process from acquisition to fulfillment.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical.
  10. Good influencing skills with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
  11. A university degree from a recognized institution is a plus.
  12. Existing business pipelines and connections will be an advantage.

Important Points:

  1. The role focuses on industrial B2B sales & marketing, and successful experience working independently in this environment is critical.
  2. We do not require our colleagues to sit in the office; you are recommended to carry out your work in a flexible style, including WFH, contractual, and part-time arrangements.
  3. Good English communication skills are recommended; however, if you can achieve results with an interpreter assistant, we will gladly provide assistance.
  4. The role is targeted for the long term, including maintenance and after-sales service, with discussions on work planning and salary based on the candidate's criteria.
