Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translation services for written and verbal communication between Chinese Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and the company.
Translate various documents, including contracts, reports, and emails, ensuring clarity and consistency across languages.
Assist with the interpretation of meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders in China and other Mandarin-speaking regions.
Act as a bridge for cross-cultural communication, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration between the company and Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
Advise the management team on cultural nuances and best practices when interacting with Mandarin-speaking clients or partners.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to Mandarin-speaking audiences.
Provide support in contract negotiations, ensuring terms are clearly understood by all parties involved.
Assist in the preparation and execution of business meetings and events in Mandarin-speaking markets.
Requirements:
Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Bachelors degree in Business, International Relations, Linguistics, or related field.
Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or a related role.
Strong understanding of the shipping and logistics industry is a plus.
Experience in business development or sales, preferably in Mandarin-speaking markets.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to understand and navigate cultural differences in business practices and communication.
