Business Data Analyst

Job Description

1. Business partners and analytics-driven specialist for identifying incremental business revenue and volume potential through quantitative methodology by developing actionable insights and identifying business opportunities.
2. Formulating various business insights through the use of analytics-driven methodology and scoring methods to identify business opportunities and improve business performance.
3. Complete preparation of business insights framework from opportunities gathering, data sizing, business presentation, and revenue/volume impact analysis.
4. Prepare strategic recommendations and solutions to answer business problems.
5. Proactively collaborate with Product and Sales teams to apply customer insights.
6. Generate smart leads to respective business units for cross-sell/up-sell activities.
7. Develop propensity modeling for generating smart leads with a higher probability to improve sales productivity and customer experience.

Technical Skills

1. Experience in handling and analyzing large amounts of data for better information and insights.
2. Exposure or working experience with SQL or SAS.
3. Data visualization: Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
4. Preferred:
5. Strong business domain knowledge in Consumer Banking or Corporate Banking.
6. Prior exposure in HR/Operation/Finance Analytics.
7. Solid critical thinking and analytical skills to work well with numbers and complex data.

Functional Skills

1. Proficiency in English as a business language.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel and PowerPoint).
3. Good communication skills (i.e., presentation and influencing skills) and strive for excellence.
4. Strong ability to build partnerships across functional teams through collaboration.
5. Identification of business questions and opportunities.
6. Data storytelling and insight generation.

Qualifications & Work Experience:

1. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics.
2. Relevant Work Experience: 1-3 years of prior analytic working experience (banking or non-banking analytics), Business Consultant, or Market Research is required.
3. Hybrid working.
4. Willing to be placed in Menara Sentraya, Blok M.
