Business Controller Sr. Associate

About the Role

As a Business Controller for Fleet, you will play a key role in supporting establishing and managing financial processes that drive the efficiency and profitability of our fleet operations. In the first six months, your primary focus will be on supporting the development of operational finance processes and financial models to guide decision-making. You will be responsible for monitoring revenues and costs, improving cost control processes, and establishing early warning systems to detect financial risks, deviations, and potential fraud. The role presents challenges such as identifying cost leakages, managing risks related to fleet health, and ensuring financial integrity.

What you will do

• Support the development of operational finance processes for fleet activities within the first three months.
• Support the development and implementation of cost control measures to optimize fleet-related expenses.
• Create financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor revenues and expenses, providing regular financial insights to leadership.
• Set up early warning systems to detect financial deviations, risks, and potential fraud.
• Identify cost leakages and inefficiencies, recommending corrective actions.

What you will need

• At least 4 years of experience in management accounting, financial controlling, or operational finance, ideally in the fleet, logistics, or mobility sectors.
• Basic knowledge of cost control, financial modeling, and P&L management.
• A clear understanding of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience in setting up operational finance processes and internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear insights and reports.
• Excellent communication skills in presenting financial data.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to drive efficiency improvements.
