Job description

Polibeli (part of Xingyun Group) is a B2B e-commerce platform whose investment base originates from Singapore and is located in Jakarta, Indonesia, was founded in 2022. We are expanding our team in the Die-cast Model Car Toys industry and looking for a Brand Manager to build brand strategy, lead marketing and promotion, and build brand image. Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and position toy brands in Indonesia by understanding market trends, consumer needs, and competition.
  2. Develop long-term strategies to boost awareness and market share while tailoring the brand image to local culture.
  3. Lead online and offline campaigns, utilize local festivals and trends, and engage on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Collaborate with influencers and retailers to boost sales and brand influence.
  4. Create a unique brand identity using Indonesian cultural elements. Ensure consistency across all channels and improve perception through market feedback and trend analysis.
  5. Work with agencies, media, and partners to create innovative campaigns and negotiate contracts for maximum ROI.
  6. Partner with local influencers and celebrities to amplify the brand's reach and build authentic consumer connections.
  7. Oversee engaging content creation tailored to the Indonesian audience, ensuring high-quality designs and platform optimization.
  8. Develop communication plans and manage social media to grow followers and drive engagement. Run impactful campaigns and respond to user feedback.
  9. Build and maintain a user-friendly, SEO-optimized website, tracking performance to enhance traffic and conversions.
  10. Distribute content across various channels for maximum reach, exploring emerging platforms and trends.
  11. Plan and execute events, trade shows, and exhibitions to boost brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications

  1. At least 4-5 years of work experience in brand management, with a focus on the Indonesian market.
  2. Proven experience in managing large-scale marketing projects. Success in the toy industry or related consumer goods sector is preferred.
  3. Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  4. Good in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
  5. Capable of using digital marketing tools or platforms, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media advertising.
  6. Able to keep up with trends for brand development.
  7. Able to sort and analyze market data for brand decision making.
  8. Creative and passionate, has basic understanding of graphic design and video production.
  9. Willing to work onsite five days a week.
