Job description

Our client is a leading provider of innovative liquid dispensing solutions. They are seeking an experienced and result driven BD Sales Manager to join the dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, expanding client base and managing the sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit to grow the market presence and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities within the liquid dispensing systems industry. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, distributors, and industry partners. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.
  • Sales Management: Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies and campaigns to drive revenue growth. Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers while ensuring profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Resolve any client issues or concerns promptly, ensuring high-quality service. Provide product and service training to clients as needed.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance and analyze data to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to ensure team performance aligns with company goals.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align business objectives and strategies. Stay informed of industry developments and new product offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
