Backend Engineer (Bali Base) | AYANA Hospitality (Corporate Office)

Responsibilities:

1. Being a core developer of our backend system such as booking-engine, app and rewards backend.
2. Participate in the development of our backend system, from ideation to implementation. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products and processes.
3. Work with the team to identify and troubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
5. Write clean, efficient, and testable code that meets the project requirements.
6. Collaborating in Automation Project using n8n framework.

Minimum Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
2. Experience in other backend stacks such as PHP/Laravel, Go/Gin/etc.
3. Familiar with git best practices.
4. Familiarity with PHP/Laravel is a plus.
5. Experience with test/behavior-driven development (T/BDD) and agile methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
7. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to communicate in English with our team outside Indonesia.
9. Willing to be placed in Bali.
