Position: Back End Engineer/Developer

As a Back End Engineer/Developer, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining the core functionality of the software applications. You will work closely with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that their products are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly. Your expertise in coding languages, system integration, and strong communication skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end features, including backend code, APIs, and frontend UI, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure for critical product flows.
• Ensure observability and maintenance for features developed by you and your team.
• Influence technical direction for backend and frontend applications.
• Shape engineering team culture, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in backend system development with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and unit testing frameworks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with customer/colleague empathy.
• Strong design intuition and ability to address ambiguous engineering challenges.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in a specific coding language (such as Java, Python, Golang, or Ruby), including a strong understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
• Must have good proficiency in English (both speaking and writing).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
