Job Description:

Scope of Position

Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure they meet regulatory standards for safety and performance. Responsibilities may include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance checks, performing repairs or replacements of components, and adhering to maintenance schedules outlined by aviation authorities. Additionally, the LAE may supervise and coordinate the work of technicians and mechanics, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and document all maintenance activities for record-keeping and regulatory purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform assigned tasks within specific time frames while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensure a conducive working environment by practicing good housekeeping and proper usage of tools, equipment, and facilities.
• Responsible for compliance with safety requirements in relation to the tasks performed.
• Instill a good work attitude and leadership qualities at all times.
• Take initiative to acquire relevant knowledge to enrich and improve work performance.
• Manage consumables used during maintenance activities, including spare wastage control.
• Ensure tasks are evenly distributed to team members and promote team spirit.
• Be responsible for personnel performance, training, compliance, and maintenance staff evaluations.
• Uphold Airbus Values, Leadership Model, and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and promote awareness of these values.
• Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must hold CAAM B1.3 license with a minimum of one (1) Airbus Helicopters type rated endorsed in the license. Additional type will be an added advantage. Experience with at least 5 years on Airbus Helicopters Product.
• Must have Part 66 Category B1.3 license and preferably with CAA Malaysia ratings.
• Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS).
• Good knowledge of EASA/FAA and CAAM Regulations.
• Rated with EC225 is an advantage.
