Job Title: AWS AI Developer for Cloudetica Solutions (Remote, Casual/Part-time position)

Job Description: Cloudetica Solutions is looking for an experienced AWS AI Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team on a casual, project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in AWS AI and ML services, particularly Amazon SageMaker for deploying machine learning models (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, regression, time series forecasting) and Amazon Bedrock for building and fine-tuning generative AI applications.

While the primary focus is on AI and ML workflows in AWS, candidates must also be proficient in other AWS services necessary for end-to-end AI model deployment, automation, and integration into scalable cloud solutions. This is a fully remote position, requiring flexibility to work across various time zones, including Eastern Time (ET) and British Summer Time (BST).

Key Responsibilities:

• AI/ML Experience: Strong experience deploying and managing machine learning models on AWS SageMaker, such as anomaly detection, classification, regression, forecasting, NLP, and computer vision.
• Generative AI Development: Hands-on experience working with Amazon Bedrock to develop generative AI applications using large language models (LLMs) and foundational models (FMs).
• End-to-End AI Pipelines: Proven ability to build scalable AI/ML workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, inference, and monitoring on AWS.
• Cloud Integration: Experience integrating AI models with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, and Glue for automation and deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize AI workloads for cost-efficiency, scalability, and low-latency performance on AWS infrastructure.
• Programming & Frameworks: Proficiency in Python with experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex AI/ML concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience: Strong technical expertise in AWS services and cloud-based application development, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure AWS applications.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, React, TypeScript, or similar, with experience in building serverless applications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to clients.
• Development Practices: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred:

• AWS Certification: AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
• Experience with Vector Databases: Hands-on experience with Amazon OpenSearch, Pinecone, or Weaviate for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) in AI applications.
• LLM Fine-Tuning & RAG: Familiarity with fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) on AWS and integrating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques into AI workflows.
• MLOps & CI/CD for AI Models: Experience with SageMaker Pipelines, Amazon CodePipeline, or custom CI/CD for AI deployments.

Format of work:

• Position: Fully remote, casual/part-time role with work available on a project-by-project basis, subject to client availability.
• Payment: Payment will be provided at an hourly rate.
