Job Description:

• Follow up on any issues in production related to the Automation system (robot, jig, EOAT, etc.) and perform repairs/improvements for effective and efficient production.
• Conduct PM on robot and other supporting items as per schedule.
• Support EOAT/jig assembly and installation as per drawing prior to trial on the shop floor during Automation project trials, working together with another shift technician.
• Attend automation trials and follow up on designated jobs related to the trial from the supervisor on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Participate in daily meetings to receive shift-related job updates and production issues related to robots.
• Maintain a good 6S environment at the automation workshop and machines with robots and their supporting items.
• Conduct robot installation and modification/repair following standard Electrical or Mechanical guidelines, and communicate with the Maintenance department regarding any changes at the machine or related to the machine, especially on Electrical modifications.
• Participate in training provided by the supervisor, whether internally or through external training.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Polytechnic from a technical background.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position (experience in an injection molding company is preferred).
• Proven expertise in handling robots such as Fanuc or Yushin and injection molding machines.
• Experience in robot teaching and maintenance, including 5- and 6-axis robots.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Fluency in English (both oral and written) is an advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety Work Management Systems (K3).
• Fundamental knowledge of safe work practices.
