Role Summary:

The Audio & Post Producer is a hybrid role that combines expertise in audio and post-production with the project management and client-facing responsibilities of a Producer. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless audio and editing process within post-production workflows, maintaining high production standards, and delivering high-quality audiovisual content on time and within budget. Success in this position requires a solid understanding of audio production and post-production techniques, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Define and uphold audio and post-production workflows and standards
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery
  • Lead client briefings and review sessions, providing clear communication and alignment on project goals
  • Coordinate communication among internal teams, clients, and external vendors for smooth project execution
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet technical and creative specifications, including quality standards for sound and visual content
  • Track project progress and report on key milestones to keep all stakeholders informed
  • Manage invoices and maintain accurate cost tracking for budget adherence
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audio post-production, including knowledge of voiceover recording, mixing, sound design, and editing processes
  • Proficiency with basic audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and familiarity with sound libraries and mixing equipment
  • A keen ear for sound quality and a creative approach to storytelling through audio
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in post-production, with knowledge of offline editing, motion graphics, and online processes
  • Familiarity with post-production tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Flame, DaVinci Resolve)
  • An eye for visual quality and a creative mindset that enhances storytelling through visual content
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to maintain smooth workflows
  • Research and implement new technologies and workflows to improve team efficiency and enhance quality

Qualification:

  • Demonstrated experience in both audio and post-production, with a strong portfolio of audiovisual content
  • Effective project management skills, including budget management and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with clients and cross-functional teams
