The Cikarang Skin factory is a priority site with complex operations. The Assistant Inbound Logistics Manager is expected to manage the raw and packaging material warehouse, which contains more than 6,000 pallet positions and over 500 different materials. Currently, the warehouse is operated by a third-party logistics expert and will transition from manual to automated operations.

The Assistant Inbound Logistics Manager will report to the BW ID Manufacturing Manager and coordinate with the third-party logistics expert to ensure that end-to-end warehouse operations run smoothly, with zero delays in supply to production. Additionally, they will ensure zero safety accidents and zero quality incidents during operations, while complying with all regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage warehouse operations in compliance with Unilever integrity and policy as well as safety quality and legal compliance.
  2. Oversee receiving, warehousing, delivering operation and stock accuracy and inventory.
  3. Seeking and implementing new initiatives through focused improvement applications to optimize cost and service.
  4. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  5. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
  6. Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses to achieve expected spending and saving.
  7. Liaise with production, planner, quality team, suppliers, and transport companies.
  8. Produce regular reports and statistics (e.g., inventory report, capacity utilization, cycle count report, etc.) to ensure defined KPIs are achieved.
  9. Drafting, finalizing and executing warehouse automation projects and supporting future backward integrity project execution.

Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
  1. More than 2 years of experience in warehouse operation, logistics or other manufacturing roles. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  2. Engineering background, preferably in industrial engineering.
  3. Experience as a ULIP (Unilever Internship Program) is preferred.
  4. Have a good understanding of basic automation and logistics concepts (e.g., milk run strategy, kanban, etc.).
  5. Strong leadership skills and willingness to work closely with third parties and shop floor teams.
  6. Business, organizational, strategic, and cultural awareness.

Work Location: Cikarang Skin Factory - Cikarang, Kab. Bekasi, Jawa Barat
Working Day: 5 Days a week. Normal shift.
