Role Overview:

The Associate Director, Public Vaccine Strategy, plays a pivotal role in shaping company's vaccine initiatives within the public sector. This position is responsible for designing and ensuring the strategies implementation to improve vaccine accessibility, strengthen partnerships with government bodies, and align with national immunization goals. The role requires a deep understanding of public health priorities, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy to drive vaccination programs that positively impact public health outcomes.

Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, the Associate Director ensures the successful execution of company’s mission to protect and improve lives through innovative vaccines. The role also emphasizes the development of sustainable business models while navigating complex healthcare ecosystems to address current and emerging public health challenges in Indonesia.

What will you do in this role:

Strategy

  • Develop commercial marketing strategies for public vaccine landscape opportunities that address the importance of vaccination and how to help government to increase vaccination rate. This position responsible to make marketing analysis & trends, develop product value proposition aligned with potential opportunities in public vaccination program, including monitor competitor activities and mitigation strategy. For instance: L3 Next Public Vaccine Business Strategy & the execution
  • Develop public vaccine blueprint (Short- & Long-Term Strategy) for our vaccine portfolio include upcoming potential new vaccine product by aligning with government blueprint (Renstra)
  • Collaborating with our company’s commercial, external affairs and medical teams in leading and defining the strategic focus of our company NIP (National Immunization Program) business to ensure that the tactical approach and the current health and political environment are complimentary at sub-national level
  • Maintaining oversight of our company’s key internal vaccines tender platforms and collaborating with global and local commercial stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasts are maintained.
  • Demand forecast & supply management for all NIP vaccines and strong communication with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate supply commitments aligned to forecasts
  • Scoping and positioning future (segmentation & targeting) vaccines for broader State and National Programs

Public Program Campaigns

  • Actively participating in government affairs and market access initiatives, the public vaccine business can help to create an environment that supports the development, distribution, and administration of vaccines to achieve widespread immunization coverage. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in vaccination and impact of solutions implemented
  • Planning & execute public vaccine marketing activities to support increased awareness & vaccination rate by collaborating with various stakeholders such as local communities, address concerns, and provide accurate information about vaccines and immunization.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to build reputation as a trusted and influential partner at sub-national level in vaccines.
  • Explore opportunities to enable vaccination for catch up cohort at sub-national level through vaccination program campaign and public education
  • Understand and analyze public perception and feedback regarding vaccination, monitoring the impact of marketing campaigns, and using data to refine and optimize future marketing strategies.
  • Manage budget for public initiatives such as promotion campaign, public vaccine executive program, etc.

What Should you have:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Strategy Management, Business Development/Pharmacist or Medical related Minimum 8-year experience in related field, preferably having experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills (both in English and Indonesia language)
  • Advance on ethical product and regulations.
  • Demonstrates initiative, strategic thinking and creative problem solving in response to the communications challenges and opportunities Excellent project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under intense stress and pressure especially in a crisis/issue Undergoes on-going media training to maintain skills
  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and health issues Strong on Medical communication phrase
