Assistant Production Supervisor

You will work with the Senior supervisor in maintaining a structured work environment, controlling the production run smoothly and ensuring all processes align with SOP.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise an operative team of workers to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
2. Monitor the productivity, yield, and manpower utilization of the section.
3. Assist in preparing the monthly production report for the Production Manager.
4. Monitor the daily urgent parts and backlog hours.
5. Control cost production, job variance, and OEE.
6. Ensure good housekeeping of the section and its premises.
7. Determine continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Responsible for the overall performance of team members.
9. Plan and source appropriate machinery, equipment, and tools to improve operations.

Requirements:

1. Experience in a related field, with supervisory experience in a manufacturing company; tobacco background is an advantage.
2. Knowledge of business processes and practices.
3. The ability to foster teamwork.
4. Background in project management.
5. Experience in coaching or training employees.
6. Good personality and ability to approach all levels.
7. Strong oral and written communication skills.
8. Strong leadership skills, including being a self-starter.
