Assistant Manager Supply Chain

Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Acquisition and Fulfillment (Domestic & Export Shipments)

• Develop and communicate with Sales and Costing for pricing
• Acquire pricelist from suitable vendors and negotiate for dedicated vendor if needed
• Maintain vendor fulfillment coordination with incoming orders, including sourcing for new transporter & forwarder vendor

2. Vendor Relationship Management

• Monitor transport vendors performance
• Optimize monitoring systems
• Vendor administrations related to contracts, organize meetings and monitoring system

3. Strategic Development Planning

Domestic and Export transport

• Manage transport bids, analyze rates, and transport selections
• Create, manage, update, and maintain rate schedules; benchmark rates for new lanes for cost studies
• Up to date with Government new impose regulation and make necessary action to ensure Bungasari is compliant to it
• Up to date with Global Freight situation and make action to reduce Bungasari transport process

Warehouse Management

• Provide historical data and analysis for warehouse problems and improvement such as capacity issue, loading cycle time, system issue.
• Provide improvement initiative related with WH operation such as layout design, projection on warehouse capacity requirement basis sales budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any major with min. 4 years experience at Logistic & Warehousing
• Minimum 2 year of experience in transportation vendor acquisition & management (domestic and Export shipments)
• Strong in Communication and Negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fast learning, conscientious, quick action, high spirits, no mobility issue
• Experienced in project improvement and cost saving initiative
• Deep knowledge in Transportation, Warehouse and Market Pricing
• Microsoft Office Skills (strong Excel) and SAP Preferably
• Fluent in English written and spoken
