Job Description

This position is to assist the Chief Engineer in organizing and managing the team, performing administrative tasks, and coordinating with other departments. Helps employees improve their skills and provides support for career development.

What you will be doing:

1. Provide advice to senior management on all aspects of maintenance support, environmental controls, and the operational efficiency of the property.
2. Contribute to the hotel’s profitability by ensuring the effective management of the buildings' environmental controls and energy conservation systems.
3. Evaluate, control, and record energy usage and implement and upgrade energy conservation systems.
4. Ensure the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment by implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program.
5. Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and external areas. Verify completion of all repairs, replacements, and renovation works throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2-3 years previous experience within a similar role as Assistant Chief Engineer.
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
3. Working experience in 5* hotel operation is highly regarded.
