Asset Management Manager

The Asset Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of the company's assets, ensuring optimal performance control and compliance with relevant company policies synchronized with the SAP System. Role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement asset management strategies to efficiently control assets of the company.
2. Prepare and maintain the company's asset list (heavy equipment, dump trucks, and light vehicles), including purchase data/write-off and existing asset data. Maintain IT Master data and SAP data.
3. Monitor and maintain assets (all fixed and mobile assets), including mining and construction heavy equipment.
4. Monitor and analyze asset performance, preparing performance reports for senior management.
5. Ensure all assets are insured with appropriate coverage, compliant with financial regulations and internal policies of the company. Maintain proper custody of policies, follow up on insurance claims, and inventory control in conjunction with SAP.
6. Conduct regular inventory audits of asset management and submit findings for improvements.
7. Collaborate with finance for new purchase assets, operations, and other departments to align asset mobilization from one SAP account head to another.
8. Manage the asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal/scrap (write-off), ensuring effective tracking and reporting to management.
9. Lead and mentor a team in asset management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
10. Check asset valuation, depreciation, profit-loss account, replacement parts, and overhaul investment in upgrading equipment.
11. Provide periodical reporting to top management as per the laid-down system in place.

Qualifications:

1. S-1 bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
2. Male/Female - Age Group: 35-45 Years with 8-10 Years of work exposure in Mining & Civil Construction infrastructure Company.
3. Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and tools.
4. Proven analytical skills and attention to detail. Hands-on SAP preferred (Hana).
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in asset management SAP trained software and Microsoft Office Suite.
