Assembly Process Senior Engineer - 0093Y3
Responsibilities
Design (DfX) and implement assembly line processes including jigs and fixtures, process flow charts, and assembly line qualification.
Manage NPI and product transfers by interfacing with R&D teams and Industrialization Project Leaders for new technology and product transfer projects in accordance with Schneider Electric’s Production System.
Plan and monitor project budget, costs, and ROI based on Schneider Electric’s business requirements and policies.
Provide technical support and training to the factories’ engineers and technicians.
Manage supplier issues together with the Purchasing/Supply Chain teams relating to sub-contracted assembly lines.
Ensure the qualification and stable production of quality products that meet customers’ requirements and satisfaction.
Handle multiple projects within stipulated KPIs and timelines.
Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time delivery of manufacturing line.
Support R&D teams with continuous engineering projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferably in an assembly, automation, and manufacturing of industrial products’ environment.
Proficient in designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly lines, considering production ergonomics and safety.
Knowledge of assembly technologies e.g., riveting, laser marking, tampo printing, soldering, coiling process, etc.
Familiarity with the characteristics of EE components, metal stamping, plastic molding, etc., will be prioritized.
Hands-on project management skills with verifiable ability to handle multiple projects.
Hands-on application and knowledge of time measurement methodologies, Lean manufacturing, CAD/CAM will be advantageous.
Able to travel to factories in the region on a weekly basis.
Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.
