Area Operations Associate

Area Operations Associate is a role bridging between the operational and analytical side of business. You need to understand problems and pain points from driver partners, but at the same time, you must be able to translate driver partners’ insights into quantifiable metrics, validate, size, and prioritize the problems to be solved.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate warehouse, driver support unit/walk-in center in the area: onboarding, troubleshooting, attribute stock & selling, issue escalation.
• Conduct driver engagement via offline & online events, various training, Swadaya program (Gojek’s initiative to reduce driver expenses via partnerships with multiple stakeholders), and control spending.
• Gather feedback from teams, driver partners & field, validate insights with data, and offer continuous improvement ideas to the Area Operations Manager.
• Manage driver community & deeply engage with each Key Opinion Leader (KOL).
• Conduct analysis and proposals to achieve business objectives or solve problems in your designated area.
• Oversee and manage team’s work & project management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably from a multinational company.
• Strong at relationship building, communication skills, and community management.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail & ability to manage team performance.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Intermediate in spoken and written English.

Area Operations Associate is part of the Area Operations team within a designated city/area, working closely with the region operations team to drive performance and growth. We engage extensively with driver partners, ensuring smooth communication and addressing their needs. Through collaborative efforts, we work to optimize results, improve user experiences, and enhance the overall performance in our region.
