Architect for Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team in a Quality Assurance (QA) and documentation capacity. This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and clients, ensuring that our architectural drawings are of the highest quality and reflect each client’s unique intent.

As our QA Architect, you will play a key role in reviewing and refining project documentation. You’ll need to quickly get across varying briefs, identify errors and inconsistencies in drawings, and ensure documentation aligns with the design vision and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review architectural documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client requirements.
2. Understand diverse project briefs and client expectations.
3. Identify and correct drawing errors and inconsistencies.
4. Apply a deep understanding of construction techniques to support documentation accuracy.
5. Collaborate with the team remotely, providing mentorship and sharing knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 15 years of full-time experience in architecture across a wide range of projects.
2. A strong portfolio of construction drawings.
3. Tertiary qualification in Architecture.
4. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
5. Meticulous attention to detail.
6. A genuine enthusiasm to grow and develop within a supportive team.
7. Ability to work full-time, remotely, Monday to Friday (Melbourne, Australia time).
8. Familiarity with projects in Australia and the USA is highly regarded.
