Application Support Specialist

Our Sister Company, Sentinel Tech, is currently looking for an Application Support Specialist - Front Office Trainer.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Application Support Specialist - Front Office Trainer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring our Property Management System (PMS) and Sentec Point of Sales (POS) system are effectively utilized by hotel front office staff. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hotel front office operations and a passion for teaching and training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive training sessions for hotel front office staff on our PMS and Sentec POS systems.
2. Develop and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning content tailored to front-office operations.
3. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to hotel staff.
4. Travel extensively to various hotel locations to deliver on-site training.
5. Gather feedback from trainees to continuously improve training programs.
6. Collaborate with the development team to communicate front office staff needs and feedback.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a hotel's front office.
2. Strong understanding of hotel front office operations and workflows.
3. Experience with POS systems.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to create engaging training materials and classes.
6. Friendly, patient, and approachable demeanor.
7. Willingness to travel extensively.
8. Proficiency in using and teaching software applications, especially PMS and POS systems.
9. Comfortable with computers.
