Application Security Presales Engineer

Application Security Presales Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing expert knowledge and technical assistance on Application security solutions. This position involves engaging with prospective customers, understanding their application security needs, and presenting tailored security solutions. You will be responsible for delivering product demos, conducting security assessments, and ensuring technical feasibility in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and opportunities.
2. Conduct discovery sessions with customers to understand their web security requirements.
3. Present and demonstrate application security solutions to clients, addressing their technical and business needs.
4. Develop and present tailored security solutions and proposals.
5. Responsible for preparing RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, technical documentation and BOQ composition to sales.
6. Deliver product demonstrations, POCs (Proof of Concept), and workshops.
7. Provide ongoing support to clients during the sales cycle, ensuring smooth communication between technical and sales teams.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest web security trends, threats, and technologies.
9. Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to represent the company and expand the client base.
10. Conduct webinars for application security products.
11. Maintain relationships with principals and distributors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in web and mobile security, cybersecurity, or IT security, preferably in a presales or technical consulting role.
3. Experience in conducting application security assessments, threat analysis, and solution design.
4. Familiarity with web application security standards and frameworks (OWASP, PCI-DSS, MASVS etc.).
5. Previous experience working with web security products like Mobile application protection and Vulnerability assessment tools.
6. Proficient in English writing and speaking.
