Accounting Senior Manager

About the role

As the Accounting Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes. Based in Jakarta, this full-time position will see you leading a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial information for the organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
2. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
3. Analyse financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
4. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
5. Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
6. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and systems.

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role in the financial services industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
