Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, general ledger).
• Manage month-end/year-end closing, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting for financial planning.
• Coordinate tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and mentor the Senior Accountant, providing guidance and support.
• Manage office chop policy and coordinate legal document reviews.
• Actively support and adopt transformative digital tools to improve accounting processes.
• As financial business partner, collaborate with Country Manager on financial strategies that align with business goals.
• Effectively support Asia Value Chain operations while maintaining a clear independence necessary for the Finance function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a multinational company or public accounting firm, with 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
