Account Executive

Handle a full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger management.

• Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including preparing statements of account, following up on collections, and updating the accounting system.
• Oversee Credit Control activities, such as monitoring credit terms, following up on payments, and issuing reminder letters.
• Prepare financial reports, including AR aging reports, debtor statements, and reconciliations.
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly exemption certificates for export goods.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the Account Assistant, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting functions.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with AutoCount software is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
