Job Title: z/OS Systems Programmer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced z/OS Systems Programmer with a strong background in mainframe systems programming. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in upgrading, maintaining, and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products. This role requires hands-on experience in production support, problem resolution, and implementation of software changes in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Upgrading, maintaining, and supporting the z/OS operating system.
2. Managing ISV products, ensuring optimal performance.
3. Providing production support and troubleshooting mainframe systems.
4. Planning and executing software upgrades, patches, and configurations.
5. Working independently on z/OS, SMPE, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, and JCL.
6. Participating in on-call rotation and providing after-hours support when required.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for software implementations and ensuring compliance with regulatory processes.
8. Developing functional and technical design solutions to enhance system performance.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

1. Extensive experience in mainframe systems programming.
2. Strong expertise in z/OS, SMPE, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL.
3. In-depth knowledge of IBM and CA products.
4. Excellent problem determination skills and ability to work independently.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
6. Proven ability to build effective networks and relationships across business units.
7. Experience in risk management and ensuring compliance with regulatory processes.
8. Availability to provide off-hours support for software changes and maintenance.

1. CICS Administration
2. REXX
3. z/OS
