Overview
CMM Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM’s
Requiring two engineers experienced with Zeiss Hawk 3 scanner and a GOM (Zeiss Inspect) software package.
Scanning and analyzing the results to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support CMM dimensional measurement of forgings efforts at their facility.
- Daily inspection of forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
- Further orientation will be performed onsite.
- 3 to 6 months
- Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.
- Experience with Zeiss Hawk 3 scanner and a GOM (Zeiss Inspect) software package
- At least 3 years’ experience using dimensional inspection equipment
- Hands-on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with quality and manufacturing processes
- Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
- Must be a UK Citizen
