CMM Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM’s

Requiring two engineers experienced with Ziess Hawk 3 scanner and a GOM (Ziess Inspect) software package.

Scanning and analysing the results to ensure compliance with requirements.

Job Description:

• Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support CMM dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.
• Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
• Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Duration:

• 3 to 6 months

Frequency:

• Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with Ziess Hawk 3 scanner and a GOM (Ziess Inspect) software package
• At least 3 years’ experience using dimensional inspection equipment
• Hands-on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
• Must be able to interpret Blueprints and drawings
• Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
• Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
• Must be UK Citizen
