Overview

A busy, friendly, central London-based family seeks a fantastic infant ROTA nanny for their 3.5-month-old baby. The role will start in April and is likely to have a one week on/off schedule, with longer rotations when the family travel.

Responsibilities

The parents will be around and involved (as much as they can) and you will also be working alongside other members of staff. Responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of infant care
  • Preparing purees and baby food, supporting the eventual weaning process
  • Continuing with encouraging healthy sleeping patterns
  • Creating an engaging and stimulating environment, comfortable getting down to the baby's level and really interacting with them
  • Keeping the baby's items tidy and organised, keeping on top of baby's laundry
  • Planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings
  • Being aware of developmental and behavioural milestones, actively working with the whole family to promote healthy development and a happy, content infant
  • Bringing a positive, flexible and cheerful demeanour to the home
Requirements
  • Friendly personality, with the ability to read the room
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working to support the parents' preferences and happy to take direction
  • Calm, happy and fun approach with a pitch-in mentality
  • Hands-on and resourceful but able to recognise when to give the family space and privacy
  • Previous experience looking after children of a similar age
