Fallow was founded by three individuals in May 2019, two chefs Jack Croft and William Murray, and career hospitality entrepreneur James Robson. Fallow’s permanent home in St James’s market was established in November 2021 and has since attracted a string of awards including both the Marie Claire and GQ ‘sustainable restaurant of the year’ and the Caterer award for ‘best new restaurant’.

Are you passionate about food, creativity, and content creation? We’re looking for a YouTube Research Assistant & Production Chef to join our team, combining your culinary expertise with digital storytelling to bring exciting food content to life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the creation and production of food content for YouTube, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
2. Researching food trends, innovative techniques, and viral concepts to help shape engaging video content.
3. Developing and testing recipes that are both camera-friendly and delicious, ensuring they resonate with audiences.
4. Collaborating with the team to brainstorm new ideas and refine existing content.
5. Maintaining a highly organized approach to recipe documentation, ingredient sourcing, and food styling for shoots.

About You:

1. Michelin-star experience – a strong background in high-end kitchens, with expertise in technique, flavour, and presentation.
2. A strong passion for food and content creation, with a deep understanding of food culture and media.
3. Creativity and a keen eye for trends, with the ability to translate them into engaging and innovative content.
4. Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects efficiently.
5. A collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with chefs, videographers, and producers.
6. Experience in food styling or video production is a plus but not essential.
