Job description

Youth Support Workers required at a Primary setting in Burnley (BB10) supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, additional learning needs and complex associated behaviours.

This SEN setting supports students to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their journey towards independence.

About the role:
  • Supporting with community activities like horse riding, cinema and beach visits
  • Supporting with work placements
  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care
  • Promoting independence in the home environment
  • Working with other professionals within care, education and therapeutic services

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
