Youth Mental Health Advocate - Full Time - Boxford

A brilliant SEN provision in Boxford are looking to take on a Youth Mental Health Advocate this April (Term 5). The school is fully committed to creating a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need while still accessing high-quality education. Students attending the school are aged 11-14 years old and face challenges regarding social, emotional, and mental health needs. The Youth Mental Health Advocate role is a crucial position within the school's community.


Main Responsibilities of a Youth Mental Health Advocate:
  1. Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
  2. Create a safe environment for students to speak freely
  3. Collaborate with educational psychologists to tailor learning plans
  4. Implement therapeutic techniques
  5. Encourage independence and self-investigation
  6. 1-1 based support and interventions

The school is excited to welcome a Youth Mental Health Advocate to improve their students' quality of education. Full training will be provided on-site to the successful applicant. Previous experience is beneficial but not mandatory! The school is looking for a confident, enthusiastic candidate to help their students reach their full potential in education and society.


Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30

Salary: £80 to £90 daily rate
