Essential Duties:
- Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with set-up, decorations and safety checks before events.
- Host and engage children and families in activities, including pool activities, events, camps and holiday events.
- Assist parents signing their children in and out and checking identification.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with the club standards, policies and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations at all times.
- Ensure knowledge of all children's allergies and special needs.
- Supervise children and use good judgement when in our care. Adhere to all rules regarding young members.
- Assist with handling kids' meals.
- Communicate effectively and inform immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and react appropriately.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety and secure locking of children's playroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- High School education or equivalent required.
- Must possess CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients and employees.
- Must possess excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written, and positive interpersonal skills.
- Ability to get the attention and cooperation from young members.
- Excellent team player with ability to work hands on in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift items up to 30 pounds.
- Continuous walking and standing.
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, pulling and repetitive actions.
