Young Persons Sport Mentor

Are you passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a Young Persons Mentor for a school in Bridgend that supports young people with ASD and behavioural needs.

This school provides an inclusive environment for young people from diverse backgrounds and would benefit greatly from someone who can foster positive relationships, encourage engagement, and use the power of sports to inspire teamwork and trust. Sports activities during breaks and free time have historically proven to be a fantastic way to build connections and promote personal growth within the school community.

• Experience in coaching or using sports as a tool to build relationships and trust.
• Patience, empathy, and a calm approach when working with young people.
• A commitment to providing consistency and continuity for the students.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
