At Supply Desk, we are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will inspire and lead Year 5 pupils, delivering engaging lessons that fuel a love for learning and support students in achieving their full potential.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 students.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  3. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning - including participating in meetings or curriculum planning.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.

Ideal Candidate:
  1. Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification (unqualified teachers are also welcome to apply).
  2. Previous experience teaching in a primary school, specifically in Year 5 or KS2.
  3. A positive and enthusiastic approach to education, with a passion for inspiring young learners.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  5. Right to work in the UK.
  6. A creative and engaging teaching style, capable of making lessons fun and interactive.
  7. Ability to commute to Milton Keynes.
