A fantastic opportunity has presented to work in a vibrant, two-form entry school in the heart of Stockport. This full-time Year 5 teaching role will begin May 2025 and will run until February 2026 with the possibility of an extension, depending on your success in the role. As the Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and attainment of approximately 30 pupils within a mixed ability class. A substantial percentage are working below age-related expectations so the successful candidate must strive to overcome challenges and have the motivation to drive progress and transform academic outcomes. In addition, there is a small percentage of SEND in the class; experience writing and reviewing EHCP's is highly desirable. You will be joined by a full-time TA who is very familiar with the curriculum and be joining a very supportive KS2 team in which you can make an impact!
