Job description

Key Stage 2 Teacher needed to teach Year 4 for the summer term at a school in Market Drayton.

Your new role
As a Key Stage 2 teacher for this Year 4 class, you will:

  • Teach a class of 33 children, as part of a 3 class year group.
  • Work alongside 2 other Year 4 teachers to plan engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including Teaching Assistants working on a 2:1 basis with a child with an ECHP, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage independence and responsibility.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum, including Year 4 multiplication checks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and commitment to student development.
