Are you a fully qualified or newly qualified Year 2 Teacher seeking a new role from January 2025?

We are working with a vibrant primary school in the B75 area, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher for a January start.

About The Role:

  1. Enthusiastic about education and teaching – plan and deliver lessons effectively, collaborating with teaching assistants.
  2. Ability to mark student work.
  3. Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the school's behaviour policies.
  4. Ensuring safeguarding of children.
  5. Communicating effectively to parents, SENDCo's, and other educational professionals if/when needed.
  6. Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs of students, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  7. Be flexible to year group/key stage.

About You:

  1. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
  2. Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
  3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  4. Have over 1 year of applicable references.
  5. Can drive or reliably commute at late notice.
  6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Confident contributing to the school community.
  8. Availability for after-school meetings, training days, and school events.
