Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Layton. This is a full-time role starting April 21st, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the learning journey of young students.
As a Teaching Assistant for Year 2, you will:
- Support Classroom Learning: Work alongside the teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Provide Individualized Support: Assist students who may require additional help, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
- Encourage Positive Behaviours: Promote a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment and help manage pupil behaviour effectively.

- Contribute to Student Progress: Monitor and support pupils’ development, providing constructive feedback where needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly in a classroom setting, is desirable.
- A proactive, caring, and patient approach with the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
