Year 2 Class Teacher in Croydon, South London. Salary: £36,413 - £48,532 per annum.

This Primary School

The Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team at this primary school are looking to recruit an aspirational and energetic class teacher to teach in one of their wonderful Year 2 classes on a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2025. This role can be full-time or 3 days a week (Wednesday-Friday) and we welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as ECTs.

This primary school is an Ofsted graded Good school with an Outstanding EYFS. They are 'a caring and ambitious school' where 'pupil behaviour is settled and calm'.

What you will need to succeed (essential)

  • QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree
  • Must have successful experience of teaching the primary curriculum
  • The right to work in the UK
  • You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
