Full-time, 5 days per week
Salary: M1 Outer London 36,413 - UPS3 Outer London 53,994

We are working with a 2-form entry 'Good' Ofsted-rated primary school in Redbridge, known for its inclusive and nurturing ethos. The school prides itself on fostering a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

This lovely school is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team, contributing to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

1. Take full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
3. Build strong relationships with parents to support pupils' academic progress
4. Create a positive, structured classroom environment where pupils feel supported and inspired

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

1. Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
2. Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (either through placements or previous roles)
3. A strong sense of commitment and a passion for delivering high-quality education
4. UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
5. Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
6. Right to work in the UK
