An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in the Borough of Lewisham is looking to recruit a Year 1 Teacher. The role of Year 1 Teacher is full time, and permanent, with a September start.

This vacancy is suitable for Year 1 Class ECTs and for more experienced Year 1 Class Teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience.

As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will be working amid a range of outstanding teachers and have a teaching assistant to assist you throughout the day.

What we are looking for:

• Year 1 Experienced Teacher (Have taught KS1 for 1 or more years)
• Must hold a UK QTS – this is non-negotiable
• Must have a degree from a reputable University
• Must have a strong academic background – A levels and GCSEs
• Experience of working in KS1
• Excellent references and lesson observations/feedback
• A team player who will fully get on board with the SDP
• Continuing to raise attainment and closing the gap for PPG children
• Located in the Borough of Lewisham
