Qualifications

  • Must possess a full clean class 1 driver licence and forklift licence.
  • Experience in warehousing or trade knowledge is preferred.

Job Description:

The Role: You’ll be working in our Yard and Drive Thru area at our Cranford Street branch. Serving customers, loading, and unloading products onto vehicles/trucks. Daily you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting our customers within our timber yard & Drive Thru department
  2. Loading goods onto customer vehicles
  3. Processing customer orders and transactions
  4. Picking orders for delivery when needed
  5. Monitoring inventory, cycle counts
  6. Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
  7. Operating a Forklift

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

About You: You will play a lead role in ensuring our loyal customers are given the utmost care and service. You will need to be a people person and someone who thrives in building rapport with customers.

  1. Full clean class 1 driver licence and Forklift licence/Experience is required
  2. Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience is preferred
  3. Physically fit and possess solid health and safety values
  4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  5. Great attention to detail and be organised
  6. Computer and numeracy knowledge
