Job description

Role: WTG Marshalling Harbour Site Representative
Work Scope: Pre-Assembly
Working Pattern: 2 Weeks on / 2 Weeks off - 12 Hour Days - Day & Night Required
Location: Hartlepool - Candidates MUST be located commutable distance to site
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: February 2026 + Possible Extension
Rates: £750 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DS, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Description:

The successful candidates will have the proven skills necessary to build relationships with key internal and client stakeholders to ensure that WTG marshalling harbour activities are safely executed in accordance with technical and quality requirements. Working as an integral member of the WTG Package team, the WTG Marshalling Harbour Site Representative shall observe and report on WTG load-in and pre-assembly activities, as defined within the key accountabilities of this role. The role will be back-to-back with another WTG Marshalling Harbour Site Representative and will work closely with the Employer Quality Representative.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Ensure that all works undertaken comply with project specific requirements, to include:
  2. Incoming component inspection of tower sections, blades and nacelles together with client inspectors;
  3. Final inspection prior to loadout;
  4. Assembled tower walkdowns;
  5. Tracking preservation of components in compliance with client requirements;
  6. Reporting and tracking close out of punch list items;
  7. Produce a daily report of key activities and findings on site;
  8. Safety walkarounds with client;
  9. Quality Documentation review;
  10. Attending daily/weekly coordination meetings with the client site team;
  11. Liaising with project Commissioning and Completions team on outstanding punch list items uploaded to ProCoSys.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  1. We are looking for someone who has WTG construction experience within large complex projects.
  2. GWOs - Manual Handling, First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness.
  3. Minimum HNC qualified in engineering or construction.
  4. Five years of relevant experience including WTG construction as an Employer Representative of similar.
  5. Demonstrable understanding of the quality function during the execution of EPC contracts.
  6. Experience of working collaboratively with Clients and Contractors.
  7. Good communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  8. Experience in monitoring Contractor activities in the following project phases: preservation, installation, and commissioning through to completion/hand over, including management of non-conformities.
  9. Demonstrable understanding of Project documentation arrangements, including Contractor documentation deliverables.
  10. Willingness to be site based.
  11. Strong ethos relating to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
