Job Title: Workshop Technician
Location: Guildford (Outskirts of Guildford)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-quality refurbishment and repair work on customer jobs, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Perform fault finding, diagnosis, and reverse engineering to develop efficient repair solutions.
- Conduct thorough checks on equipment/machinery, reporting any faults or issues.
- Assist in developing and improving standard test and repair procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed customer expectations, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Support investigations and contribute electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering insights.
- Play an active role in optimising workshop performance and ensuring smooth operations.
Health & Safety Commitment:
- Follow all safety regulations and best practices, fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Engage in risk assessments and adhere to safe working systems.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, contributing to workplace safety and efficiency.
Skills & Competencies:
- Experience in torque tightening, mechanical fixings assembly, and crimping (both large and small connections).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to prioritise tasks and make informed business decisions based on customer needs.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in electrical repairs or working within an electronics or Mechanical workshop environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum electrical/electronic/engineering/Mechanical Engineer craft Level 3 ONC/NVQ (or equivalent).
- Additional qualifications in electromechanical engineering are highly advantageous.
