Role: Workshop Supervisor

Pay: £20ph

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day shift

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Are you an experienced HGV Technician / Workshop Supervisor with a passion for maintaining HGV vehicles? Our client is searching for you! They seek a highly skilled and motivated HGV Technician ‘/ Workshop Supervisor to join their depot in Birmingham

Workshop Supervisor Duties

  • Ensure timely and high-quality maintenance of all vehicles and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Transport leadership team and all relevant stakeholders across the business.
  • Accurately complete daily job sheets and other required administrative tasks.
  • Take ownership of quality control for all team outputs, ensuring work meets high standards.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Inspect and prepare vehicles for MOT, ensuring they exceed required standards.

Workshop Supervisor Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 qualification relating to commercial vehicle repairs or similar (Essential)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • HGV Class 1 driving licence (preferable), training can be provided for right candidate
  • IT skills on moderate level
