Are you an experienced HGV Technician / Workshop Supervisor with a passion for maintaining HGV vehicles? Our client is searching for you! They seek a highly skilled and motivated HGV Technician ‘/ Workshop Supervisor to join their depot in Birmingham
Workshop Supervisor Duties
- Ensure timely and high-quality maintenance of all vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the Transport leadership team and all relevant stakeholders across the business.
- Accurately complete daily job sheets and other required administrative tasks.
- Take ownership of quality control for all team outputs, ensuring work meets high standards.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Inspect and prepare vehicles for MOT, ensuring they exceed required standards.
Workshop Supervisor Requirements
- NVQ level 3 qualification relating to commercial vehicle repairs or similar (Essential)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- HGV Class 1 driving licence (preferable), training can be provided for right candidate
- IT skills on moderate level
