Salary: £33,000 - £36,000

Location: Bootle

Shift: Monday - Friday – 8am – 4.30pm DAYS

We are currently looking for a Workshop Manager to join our clients dedicated engineering team in their commitment to providing a high standard of service output for their customers.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with plenty of experience in the forklift industry; qualifications are desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate should have the drive and confidence to eventually take the place of the existing workshop manager over the next 2 years, as the current manager is expected to retire. The current workshop manager is still hands-on in the workshop but covers check-overs before handing over the work to other engineers.

You will need to hold a valid UK driving license for this role.

Workshop Manager Main Duties

1. General Servicing, Maintenance, Repairs to Electric, Diesel & LPG, Multi-brand Machines from the 1990s to new.
2. Offer advice and knowledge when needed to other engineers.
3. Fault find with and without the help of plug-in software.
4. You will need a valid driving license in case you are called out to breakdowns.
